Affirmations Art

Birth affirmations are a powerful tool to help us stay in a positive mindset so we can feel calm and content throughout labor and birth.

We’ll have a variety of art supplies (watercolors, markers, colored pencils, cardstock ect.) so you can get creative and make visual reminders of your favorite birth affirmations!

We’ll also have a positive discussion about affirmations, birth and help you feel empowered!

Meet the Host

Hi there! I'm Crystal, a passionate doula and proud mom of two beautiful kids (3 and 8 months). I grew up in Illinois, and I've called Utah home for the past decade. I earned my BS in Special Education from BYU, but after 2 years of teaching, left to pursue motherhood full-time. In 2022, I felt called to be a doula and trained as both a birth doula and breastfeeding support doula. I'm dedicated to empowering women throughout their motherhood journey. I strive to foster strong communities and cultivate a culture where women uplift and support each other through the beautiful and challenging moments of motherhood.

Can I bring children?

Yes! There are a few toys/coloring supplies they can use. Please just be considerate of other attendees.

how much does it cost?

If you pre-register, it is $5. At the door it is $7. This cost is to help pay for materials and the space. It can be sent via venmo to @crystal-flake or paid in cash at the event.
